PRESORTS, SHELVES, and MAINTAINS library materials by Dewey Decimal and alphabetical order.
PERFORMS basic PC hardware and printer maintenance.
CLEANS computer monitors and keyboards.
STOCKS printers and copy machines with paper, toner, etc.
UNPACKS and CHECKS IN library materials sent from vendors.
COVERS, STAMPS, and LABELS library materials.
DUSTS shelves.
PERFORMS all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school junior or above at least 16 years of age.
Must be willing to work weekday mornings.
Special Requirements:
Skills in computer usage and basic PC hardware and printer maintenance. Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System and the Library automated system. Ability to work independently and enjoy detailed and repetitive work, to use common courtesy when dealing with library patrons and staff members, and to work efficiently and accurately. Manage time efficiently and effectively. Understand verbal and written instruction. Handle the physical aspects of the job such as pushing and pulling fully loaded book carts and bins up to 100 pounds, lifting at least 50 pounds, reaching, twisting, stooping, bending, sitting, and standing.
