Landing Blvd

Landing Boulevard from FM 518 to League City Parkway is an existing minor arterial that has well exceed the life expectancy of its concrete.  The drought and existing oak trees in the median has taken its toll on the existing pavement.  In FY2013, the City rehabbed a large portion of the roadway by replacing a number of concrete panels.  It is projected that additional panel replacement will be required in 2015, 2017 and 2019 to maintain its serviceability.

Why It’s Needed:

This is a replacement project to remove and replace the existing concrete pavement and failed areas of subgrade.  This project will eliminate existing safety issues that have developed over the years and due to the 2011 drought and extend the service life of this important roadway segment.
