Phase 1 Hike & Bike Trail Project


These eight multi-purpose trails are a part of the League City Master Trails Plan.  The Phase 1 Hike & Bike Trail Project is a component of the Master Trails Plan.  These eight trails comprise an approximate total of 4.80 miles of the Master Trails Plan, which was approved by City Council by Resolution #2010-15, on May 25, 2010.  Funding for six of the trails has been approved by the 4B Industrial Development Corporation’s 5-year CIP, and has been approved by City Council as part of the FY 2014 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).  These trails will be funded with 4B funds.  The seventh trail (Countryside-Magnolia Creek Trail) was also approved by City Council in the FY 2014 CIP, and is to be funded with Park Dedication Fees.  The eighth trail (Rustic Oaks-Magnolia Creek Trail) was recently added, and will also be addressed with Park Dedication Fees.  All of the trails will be constructed with concrete.  The list of the eight trails and all detailed information is listed below:
