Current Water Restrictions

CITY OF LEAGUE CITY REVERTS TO STAGE 1 VOLUNTARY WATER CONSERVATION

The City of League City has reverted back to Stage 1 of the Drought Contingency Plan as of April 3, 2015. This stage calls for voluntary water conservation only, and there are no mandatory restrictions on water use at this time.

City Officials enacted Stage 2 of the Drought Contingency Plan last month in order to make emergency repairs to the main water supply line from the Southwest Water Purification Plant (SEWPP) to the City of League City. After evaluating repairs, officials determined that there was no longer a need to continue on Stage 2 of the Drought Contingency Plan at this time.

League City residents are encouraged to be mindful of their water consumption during voluntary water restrictions in support of Brazos River Authority reservoir conditions. Tips on conservation can be found on the City’s website at www.leaguecity.com/waterwise

We thank our residents and businesses for their cooperation and support of the City during these emergency repairs.
