Screen Shot 2013-08-29 at 10.44.18 AM.pngDescription
This project consists of a new well and 250,000 gallon ground storage tank (welded steel - $321,600) at Dickinson Water Plant and installing backup generators at Brittany Bay, Countryside and Dickinson Water Plants.

Why It's Needed
This project is part of the Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recover Round 2.2 funds.  Cobb Fendley will serve as engineer for design and implementation of all CDBG-DR Round 2.2 projects.  The project addresses failure of the water system to function effectively during the Hurricane Ike event, including electrical power outages, issues with water pressure and weaknesses in the overall water backup system.
