Spend your summer with us! Our energetic and talented camp staff entertains the children with different programs, arts and crafts, games, field trips, and outdoor activities. Camp by the Creek continues to remain as one of our most popular programs. The Parks Recreation Department is proud to provide quality programming while continually promoting a positive environment. This summer we will be splitting our camp by age group: 6 to 8 years old and 9 to 12 years old. 

6 to 8 and 9 to12 years old
Counselor-in Training: 13 to 15 years old
Camp Time: Monday-Friday 7 a.m.  to 6 p.m.
Place: Hometown Heroes Park (2105 Dickenson  Avenue)
Registration (registration is limited):


League City Residents: April 19 (until slots are filled)
Non-residents; May 3 (until slots are filled)

Session 1: Planet Earth Safari, June 5 to 16 

Join us this session while we explore what the world has to offer. We will be learning about animals, space and what nature is around us.

Session 2: Sports and Games, June 19 to 30

It's our traditional sports camp with a twist! Campers will play a variety of sports and cam games. Come see what new game we have for the kids this summer!


Session 3: Mix Match Days, July 3 to 14 (no camp July 4) 

Every few days we are going to change up the theme and try out something new- come see what these 2 weeks have in store!



Session 4: Drip, Drip, Splash, July 17 to 28

It's all about water! During these two weeks, we will turn our traditional camp games into water games. What better way to beat the heat then to play in the water! 
Session 5: Dr. Seuss Days, July 31 to Aug. 11

Dr. Seuss is on the loose! During these two weeks Camp by the Creek will venture into the wacky world of Dr. Seuss. Oh, the Places we'll go!

Session 6:  Decades of Fun, Aug. 14 to 18

Join us this week as we move and groove through the decades. Each day we will explore a new decade and the games that were popular during that time.

Cost: $50 deposit secures a slot for your camper. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. $10 discount given for additional campers.

We are going to be offering swim lessons this summer that will take place on Monday and Wednesday of each session from 1 to 1 :30 p.m. These classes are designed for campers who don't know how o swim or are nervous being in the water. Each session we will take eight campers. There will be an additional fee for the lessons:
                    Residents: $37.50
                    Non-Residents: $56.25
