The Community Development Block Grant Recovery (CDBG-R) program funds enables local governments to use stimulus funds for undertaking a wide range of activities intended for hard development costs associated with infrastructure activities that provide basic services to residents or activities that promote job creation, energy efficiency, and conservation through rehabilitation or retrofitting of existing buildings. The City of League City amended the PY2008 CDBG Action Plan (PDF).
The City of League City utilized $70,345 for the installation of sidewalks along Park Street from Walker Street to Main Street, including the installation of energy-efficient lighting.
